Pic Description: This was in a magazine article about the island called "The Other BobLo".
This is scanned from 22 year old newsprint paper, so the quality is not too good. I think it is a good picture of Glenn though.

I know that very well!! The handsome fella on the cover is my step-dad Hal. My mom Carol is in a little picture on the inside as well. We were so excited when that was published. We still have a copy around here somewhere as well. Thank you for posting that. I remember Glenn Gibbons very well. We lived in the little house that was next to theirs for a spell. Wonderful people. Thank you again.

The historical society has two copies of the magazine for anyone interested in reading the whole article or looking at the pictures.
I suppose I should go back and scan Hal Mills with his full beard.
Question? The store was called the Boathouse in the article. I thought Hal had renamed it Hawks Landing. Remember anything about that?

We owned the general store when we first moved there and named it Hawk's Landing (there is a story behind that as well.....) Then we bought the Boathouse from Nagy a few years after having the store. That is when they came up and did the story.
