He should put his money where his mouth is. I say he and I should have a race, any distance, across the lake. I'll spot him 20 yards and still win. And if he's a real man he'll give me enough notice that I can get an oil change and lube job on my wheelchair. I would even give him 25 yards if he'd do that. I'll show him rusty.

It's plenty thick, but very rough. The smooth part is great but even though the guys tried to knock off some ice with sludge hammers, there were only 3 guys who showed up so it was hard work, but the tree line is in and we can hope for snow to fill in some of the rough spots.

NEVER mind BLUE...

They crossed...it's fine, stay home, don't bother, people were depending on you.

YOU must be thinking of GPW, he the one that always wanted to race, but never would, as I recall BBIBABS was the only one who could catch me, you couldn't fit into any of the smaller places I could...REMEMBER!!!

Yeah, smaller like a shoe box or under the couch? You got me there little feller. Amazing how fast you could move when you were running for your life. If you took out Pat Spray's sled with that rocket arm of yours, how come Johnny Water ski was the one that was all hoppin' mad? Seems more than one of those sleds had to get towed home that weekend namely Bill Reiger's Polaris as well as Bill himself. One too many visits to Spray's camp.

Shoe box under the couch? Ok Iím getting older I donít remember that one. Fill the old guy in please. Running for your life, that seemed to be a common thing at you house. I think Blue 72 had temper when he was young. I donít think Reigher could walk because of his anorexia that weekend.
Has anyone seen Uncle Rayís hunting shack since we added the car door to it. I wish I was there when he went hunting that morning.

The shoe box refers to the smaller places he could get into. But now I'm lost. What's this about a car door on the huntin' shack? The last time Ray let me anywhere near a car door of his was when I backed the Datsun of the causeway. It's a wonder it didn't get washed out to sea. Try and explain that one away when there are witnesses.

BBIBABS

Does your dad still shovel the trail from his house to the County Garage, just for kicks...I can still see him with that 12" wide shovel throwing that stuff like a 12 horse TORO!!! By the time March rolled around the banks were taller that he was and he still got the snow 10 feet from the path. I later learned that he is who you learned your shovel technique, but David Card told me you were not the best at ducking after your release...any truth to that???

P.S.

Ol' Blue...should we race in our vehicles or just on foot??? If we use vehicles I would like to use the High School race track to show our speed...OOPS, I mean front YARD!!!

Has anyone made the trip over the ice yet? Where can we park I heard that Burtons taxidermy won't let anyone park there anymore.

You guys are a hoot for sure Laughing Last year I stoped at the taxidermist and the owner said he was not allowing anyone to park there anymore. I parked at the boat launch down by the river and fallowed the shoreline west. that worked then. Not sure about options. Stewart? have you or others crossed yet? Oh also parking at Walmart and taking the trail out back seems to work as well. If there's enough snow. Then one can shop before departure Very Happy .... Mike

Which boat launch are you talking about, the one directly across from the coast guard ship?
Thanks...

You know you might want to get a hold of the beaugrand twp hall, they have a lot of parking there and they are pretty close to pres landing.

No Tony I haven't . I have been in the hosiptal for a few days another week for recovering. I don't think I will make it. I talk to eric and he said that it was really rough. Took quite a while to come over. I don't think I could handle it right know.

Nothing serious I hope. You haven't been abused much, but it's nice to know you're there if we run out of material
