Can anyone tell me more about these? I believe it sat in McRae Bay just before the island turns sharply north up to the lighthouse point. I havent been up to the island in three years so I am not 100% sure and before that I was only on the island twice.

I get around on the island and would like to know more details about the platforms. Are they in the water or on land? If on land, are they on the beach or back in the woods? What are they made out of? What shape and size are they. How high up do they go? Are they on supports? Etc.

I'm willing to go look for them. At this time of year I need something to do.

From what I can remember there seemed to be a ramp that led to a dock. It was raised above the water maybe 4 or 5 feet. The other one was a platform that I think was out in the water and you couldnt get to it unless you wanted to get your feet wet. This one was square and a probably the same height. The constructin was heavy square timbers. Reminded me of railroad ties.

I am trying to zoom in on them from Google Maps but I cant seem to find them. The resolution isnt that great once I get in far enough.
