Ok. I think a lot of other people DO get it. They are disenfranchised and frustrated. "getting it" and fixing it appear to be two different things since the poll booth amounts a part of the dog and pony show... to make people believe they are still in control. not. $$$ is and whoever has the most seems to always win. I am pointing out the obvious or what?
So, "they" are "mad as hell and not going to take it anymore" and go into the street to "occupy" whatever it is and whomever they think needs a wake up call. I haven't been paying any more attention to "occupy" activities than the GOP primaries. Yawn.
Don't ask me how to "fix it", whatever "it" is. Never hurts to be aware and up to date. I have ideas and $1.00 to buy a pack of gum. Kicking a dead horse costs extra.
Since I am in this deep, Look at what the GOP came up with in 2008 as nominees. A Fossil and a nut job. 2012 will likely be a replay, just like a bad movie with a predictable ending. How many years ago was the film Network made? Why does it seem more relevant now than when it was made?
The GOP has nothing. If Newtie is nominated, he will go on the spit and be roasted to a smoldering black by Dems. No sport to it. Romney? he has already shown his 1% colors. _________________ Remember, half the people you know are below average. |

Money does buy the message doesn't it? This article is worth a read. Obamas BS spin on job creation in his SOTU address. You drinking this Kool Aid?.
http://www.truth-out.org/fact-checking-obamas-state-union-speech-part-1-jobs/1327709892
And since there is plenty of Kool Aid. Money buys the message be it fact or fiction. If it's political, its 5% fact and 95% fiction.
Ron Paul has a big box full of ideas. Until they are fact, they are fiction. SHOW ME! It's a long stretch between the two. A long stretch is TIME we have already run out of.
What happens when you throw dog sh*t in a blender and press the puree button? Stand back and say "It looks bad, but not too bad, I can tell you how to fix it".
Guess what? It is what it is and can't be remedied by observation, dillution, manipulated verbage or endless discussion. Or voting about it...
Ron Paul is 76 years old. I don't care if he is the wisest man on earth and walks on water because people say he can. He maybe in good health now, but he is also mortal.
So... drink any "fix it" Kool Aid you choose. You might want to drink something stronger. That won't fix anything either but just make things less painful when it all hits the fan, sooner than later.
Time is of the essence. _________________ Remember, half the people you know are below average. |

So Mitt won Nevada....NOT. Read this. The votes in the biggest county were NOT COUNTED, ARE NOT COUNTED yet!!!!! The Corporate Media announced Mitt as the winner with 4% of the vote counted. WTF! Clark County owns 53% of the vote.
No conspiracy, just the MSM trying to hide the truth...ck this out!!

Why are you holding Ron Paul's age against him? That's called ageism and is about as acceptable as racism. |

cdw:
Age against RP? RP takes no prescription drugs. He exercises 2 hours a day...bike or stationary bike and walks.
When they asked if he would divulge his medical records, he responded that it wouldn't be more than a page long and Ron said he did not know who they would go to to find medical records...he is his own doctor...hasn't seen a doctor for...ages...
Newt is the person whose health I would worry about...overweight and full of BS...not a good combination. _________________ "Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you got 'till it's gone. |

That was directed at Conis:

@cdw: No retractions. I am talking about voter demographics and reality is reality.
BTW... I am also an Oakist ( prefer Beech Trees) a Fordist, and a nonPCist...
Newt Gingrich is fat, stupid and old and has the scruples of a turnip.
Romney reminds me of a closet transvestite.
Santorum is Romney's closet girlfriend when he's not playing with himself.
I like Paul the best even if he is old, because he is old. But I am old too.

I was saddened but not surprised by the results of Michigan’s Primaries. Our greatest threat is the national debt. Yet 60% voted for projected budgets that increase the debt. We cannot finance our empire building yet 60% of Michiganders voted for two candidates that endorse wars of aggression. Americans are losing their right to privacy yet 60% of Michiganders vote for two guys that endorse federal acts that intrude into our private lives. Michiganders are upset that wall street and bankers receive special treatment from our federal government yet 60% voted for two guys that are in bed with the wall streeters and bankers.
“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.” Michiganders have lived up to that definition.
Perhaps we will wise up in time and support the only candidate, Ron Paul, that proposes cuts to our future budget, a foreign policy of peace, sound money and adherence to our constitution.

Its funny how the only real person running on the Republican ticket that has any chance in hell to be the President this fall is being shunned by his own party.. The Tea party claims they want to run our country by the constitution, but they back the front runner. Total bunch of phonies |
