We have property on the island and my wife hasn't visited in over 8 years. (I have never been there myself)

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in taking some digital photos of the property for us. We are planning a trip this year, but the way things go it may not happen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Everything depends on a good description of location and directions to that location.

I am lot 93 of Crystal Beach. Next to me on one side is a lot that has a small clearing. The other side of me is heavily wooded. Do you know if the lot you are looking for has a clearing?

From what my wife has told me. It should have a dirt or gravel road, a clearing, and an old camper on it. The neighbors were the Millers, I think. So if your last name is Miller, then I think we are talking about the same place.

I saw the title to this thread and thought it was about time someone would grow tired of seeing my ugly mug with shingles on the home page for over a month. I guess I will have to post another flower and do it myself. Over 200 looks at it though. GET YOUR SHINGLES SHOT. Off subject, but could not resist.

OK, I get the hint. I looked up lot 92. I and most everyone is very familiar with this lot. It is the county road curve at Point Lafey. It is high and dry on the inside of that curve. Once you round the curve heading toward Lake Mary, the long edge of the lot that faces the county road there, looks like 994 feet. The map I have is blurry so that may not be right. You have a great lot with the county road on two sides of it.

Bob Miller is just west on lot 108 and has a nice place there.

Are wild red caps and dewberries the same thing?

I was guessing about Bob's place being on the next lot, they are real long. You better listen to Uncle Steve. He is very familiar with that area.

I can post an infrared aerial picture of that area, if I can find it.

Until Mike finds his Photo, this will give you an idea of what your property looks like from the satellite view..

The number 1 and the Red roof is our place. If you look closely , you will see your drive.

I just lately posted a photo from 1998 of the NE corner of the island. You can see your driveway curving into the lot. Uncle Steve's is much newer.

Ludema, I was going by your lot yesterday and remembered that you wanted photos. I stopped and took a few. Email me [mwhite@wildblue.net] and I will email the photos to you.

It looks like a real thorough survey was done along your southerly line. There is a large nail marking the corner near the county road. I got photos of that and the fresh cut line. I also got a picture of the camper and old pickup.
