Located on the west end of the island, with beautiful views of the bridge. Sleeping arrangements for up to nine guests. Newly remodeled in 2002. Now accepting reservations for the 2003 season. Very Happy

Please visit our website at www.bridge-view.net for further details.

Yes, someday we hope to retire there; that's a long way off though. It is our only place on the island. I'd like to get a place in the Pines too so our kid(s) will have playmates close by. We'll have to see if Bridge-View will pay for itself first. Rolling Eyes

Rob...I noticed in your rental agreement it says that no motor vehicles are allowed on the leased property. Where do your renters park their vehicles? I really need my wife to fall in love with the island. It hasn't happened yet because the cabin we stay in is very rustic.....no eletric or indoor plumbing and it's very musty. She loves the outdoors and loves to camp but she also likes to be able to shower. I'm thinking that renting a place like yours may make it more enjoyable for her......Brad

Brad, here's what I copied from the agreement:
BVBH Rental Agreement wrote:
That no motorized vehicles of ANY type will be placed inside the leased premises at any time.
The operative word being inside. That's in the agreement so people won't think it's okay to rebuild their dirt bike inside the house. Laughing There's plenty o' parking behind the house. Very Happy

The rental agreement was copied, and altered slightly, from a friends student rental agreement, I probably don't need to have that line in there, but you never know. Rolling Eyes

That makes sense..I interpreted "inside the leased premises" as meaning your entire property. Thanks....Brad

Yeeeessss! Thank you so much Very Happy I've sent you another email asking for a few details. My husband was really bummed out when he heard we might not have a place to rent come November. Crying

We've even talked about buying an outfitter's tent and campstove and camping out instead of staying in a cottage. But I don't know if that's wise considering the unpredictable weather that time of year. If we did that, we might end up buried under 2 feet of snow! Shocked That we'd even consider doing something like that shows you how much we all look forward to coming up. It's our favorite place to be Very Happy

Anyway, please let us know as soon as possible all the details. Thanks!

(By the way, I'm rooting for renting from you. I'm no stranger to roughing it camping, but not in November with three kids.) #Silly

Ron do you mean Wallin's place that has the totem pole and other carvings? If so, we're two driveways west of theirs.
